An agreement was signed in April 2018 between the Agency for Sustainable Mediterranean Cities and Territories (AViTeM) and the Center for Mediterranean Integration strengthening the partnership linking the two institutions on the topic of urban and territorial development in the Mediterranean.

Through this partnership agreement, the CNMI and AViTeM will be collaborating on a 2018 series of seminars on “urban and territorial development for territorial decision-makers in the Mediterranean”, along with the French Development Agency (AFD) and the German Development Agency (GiZ).
