Highlights

Most countries recognise that investing in Science & Technology Parks (STP) and innovation cities is essential to building a knowledge economy. The CMI and the EIB in collaboration with the ISESCO are organising a regional workshop on Science and Technology Parks (STP) in MENA region. This event will take place on the 4th and 5th of November, 2013 at Mundiapolis University, Casablanca, Morocco. 

The workshop objective will be to address the challenges that executives of STP in the region face in formulating adequate governance and management structures that accommodate the interest of different stakeholders involved. It will offer a platform to discuss experiences in finding appropriate STP models, and will present best practices but also failures to learn from. 

The two days’ workshop will bring together leading international consultants specialised in the management of STP, managers of successful European STP, and practitioners from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, Turkey, and GCC countries.
