December 8, 2014 – Marseille, France:

The French Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region is now member of the Center for Mediterranean Integration.  President of the French Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, Michel Vauzelle and Acting Vice President, Middle East and North Africa Region, the World Bank, Gerard Byam signed the Memorandum of Understanding, which reflects a long-standing wish by both institutions to cooperate for a better integration between the North and South rims of the Mediterranean. A celebratory dinner marking the occasion was held in the Villa Méditerranée, with the presence of CMI Manager Mourad Ezzine.
