GIZ/CMI experts working on the CoMun program attended the annual German-Maghreb Dialogue on Urban Development, organized by the GIZ. Some 100 participants (including representatives from the Maghreb region and Germany, central governments, associations, civil society and academics) were able to discuss the thematic of networking in the context of emerging Moroccan and Tunisian city networks, supported by the GIZ/CMI CoMun program. A key point emerging from these talks was the importance of city networks as a tool for sharing knowledge and best practices in the North African region.
