CMI Innovation Capacities program (a European Investment Bank-led program) was present at the Forum's second instalment, organized by the Arab League’s Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO) in cooperation with the Arab Science and Technology Foundation (ASTF). It aimed to build effective partnerships to ameliorate the role of scientific research and development towards sustainable and innovative societies. During the session on Establishing Development Indicators for R&D in the Arab World, the CMI presented the project of developing an Innovation Scorecard for the MENA region.
