Between February 12 and 20, the CMI gave a series of classes on “Mediterranean Development” at the recently created AMSE. This course was delivered as part of the Master's program in Development Economics and focused on issues related to urban development, natural resources management, employment, the knowledge economy, and labor migration. The objective was to provide students with the necessary tools to understand the complex processes through which development policies are designed and implemented at both the strategic and operational levels. This activity presented a valuable opportunity for the CMI to develop greater linkages with local academia and disseminate its knowledge products. Following this experience, the participants have envisioned the development of a full CMI Course that could be delivered to a wider audience, in particular in southern Mediterranean universities.
