Highlights

Chaired by Inger Andersen, World Bank VP for the MENA region, the CMI’s annual meeting today brings together member countries and partners to discuss the Mediterranean's political, economic and social development issues and how the CMI can best contribute to broad-based and inclusive growth for the countries of the region. The annual meeting will address key issues as it seeks to consolidate its role driving the integrational agenda in the Mediterranean region.  It will bring together strategic and technical experts, international institutions, and policymakers from around the Mediterranean to discuss and reach consensus on the work program ahead. The CMI’s annual meeting coincides with the publication of the CMI annual report which will be presented at the event. In total 50 guests will be present including Ministers from our founding members together with representatives from the World Bank and EIB.
