Highlights

Following recent discussions between the CMI-WB Labor Mobility team and the GIZ in Tunis, this workshop aimed at sharing the respective initiatives of both institutions in the area of labor migration and development. The GIZ teams presented their sector project on Migration and Development and their recent activities in the area of skilled labor migration. 

The WB ILM Team at CMI presented its program, thematic regional activities and country-specific activities. Special attention was given to Tunisia and Morocco as major labor sending countries in MENA. The objective of this workshop was to explore synergies between the GIZ and CMI-WB Labor Mobility team in the area of labor migration, notably on pilot projects for the temporary mobility of Tunisian workers in the European markets.
