Highlights

Climate change and migration are major concerns in the MENA region. This study suggests that households do perceive important changes in the climate. The coping and adaptation strategies available to them deal with weather shocks are limited, as are community and government programs. Climate change is not the main driver of today’s migration flows, but it contributes substantially to migration decisions.
