  • Ends: Feb 16, 2022
  • Location: Spazio Europa, Via IV Novembre 149, Rome, Italy and Virtual
  • By: CMI, EURISPES, Istituto Diplomatico Internazionale

  • Objectives

The event will be structured around the presentation of the CMI policy paper on "Youth, Actors for Change: Rethinking Mobility". Giulia Marchesini, Human Capital Senior Programme Manager at the CMI/UNOPS, will present and discuss the findings and recommendations of the paper with experts and representatives from Italian institutions and academia.

The objective is to put forward a new narrative focusing on the idea that mobility - of knowledge, skills, talents, culture and individuals - represents a vector of empowerment for youth in the Mediterranean.

The event will focus on solutions and concrete ways to promote and enhance mobility in the region, through partnerships, cooperation and a pluri-disciplinary approach. Such solutions are needed to foster youth integration at the socio-economic and political levels in order for them to fully contribute to the development of the Mediterranean region.

    Agenda

The event will be introduced by Paolo Giordani, President of the Istituto Diplomatico Internazionale, and Marco Ricceri, Secretary General of EURISPES.
