Rationale

The CIHEAM Watch Letter is an electronic publication sharing short contributions on the issues of agricultural and rural development , fisheries and coastal development and more generally on food systems in the Mediterranean to a large and heterogeneous audience.

For this special edition (No 41) the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM) is partnering with the Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI) and the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) and to give a voice to young researchers, entrepreneurs, associative or union activists who have ideas and projects to share for more sustainable and inclusive food systems in the Mediterranean region.

Eligibility Criteria

Contributions for this edition are accepted from Youth from across the Mediterranean addressing the following themes:

• Education and training
• Entrepreneurship and innovation
• Representation and participation

Around the following areas: Sustainability and inclusiveness of agriculture; Blue economy and fisheries; Water management; New food paradigms; Inclusive territorial development; Attractiveness of territories and professions; Positive stories/ change-makers; Job creation; Entrepreneurship and CSR; Innovations, Governance, and inclusive participation
