[Interview] Donors Face the Challenge of an Unprecedented Refugees Crisis

Almost five years since the Syrian war broke out and created the largest refugees crisis since the World War II. Syria’s neighbouring countries are facing an unprecedented and protracted refugee crisis with spillover effects in Europe. RFI spoke to Jordan’s Minister of Labor H.E. Prof. Nidal Alkatamine; Ferid Belhaj, the World Bank Country Director for the Middle East; Abdullah Al Dardari Deputy Executive Secretary, UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA) and Dawn Chatty, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology and Forced Migration and Former Director of the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford about the current situation of the host countries their strategy to cope with this crisis.
