[Virtual Workshop] Tunisia’s Implementation and Evaluation of Entrepreneurship Programs Targeted to High Skilled Individuals

  • In order to ensure a constant follow-up to the face-to-face trainings and knowledge activities provided within the Community of Practice on Employment and Social Safety Nets, the World Bank organized a set of virtual workshops. This workshop focused on regional best practices for the implementation and evaluation of entrepreneurship programs targeted to high skilled individuals.

     

    Scope of the Activity

    During the workshop, guest speaker Mr. Faycel Zahar, Director of Microenterprise Services, National Employment Agency (ANETI), presented Tunisia’ Business Plan Competition program as a case study. This program provided university students with entrepreneurship training and then organized a competitive contest for them.

    Participants in this workshop were high officials from Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon Morocco, Tunisia, Yemen and West bank and Gaza.
