  • In order to ensure a constant follow-up to the face-to-face trainings and knowledge activities provided within the Community of Practice on Employment and Social Safety Nets, the World Bank organizes a set of virtual workshops. The following one focused on Lebanon’s use of Proxy Means Testing (PMT).

     

    Objectives

    The goal of this virtual mini-workshop was to focus on Lebanon’s use of Proxy Means Testing (PMT) targeting methodology to improve targeting accuracy of the country’s in-kind social assistance program.

     

    Scope of the Activity

    During this workshop the guest speaker shared an overview of the National Poverty Targeting Program (NPTP), as well as the targeting methodology employed to reach out for the poorest population in Lebanon.
