In order to ensure a constant follow-up to the face-to-face trainings and knowledge activities provided within the Community of Practice on Employment and Social Safety Nets, the World Bank organizes a set of virtual workshops. This one focused on the Establishment of Unified Registries for Social Programs.

Objectives

The goal of this virtual mini-workshop was to focus on the establishment of unified registries for social programs in Jordan by looking into Jordan's fuel subsidy compensation reform.

Scope of the Activity

During this workshop the guest speaker explored the case of Jordan's fuel subsidy compensation reform and the country’s efforts towards establishing a unified registry.
