The Mediterranean Host Municipalities Learning Network (HMLN) is an intiative by the Center for Mediterranean Integration (CMI) as an attempt to respond to the refugees crisis in the Middle East. Established back in 2016, the HMLN counts now 5 countries, 117+ local governments, 265+ members, 60+ institutional and local partners. It aims at strengthening local governments response capacity in "local economic development" & fostering coexistence by creating opportunities for both local and refugee communities alike.
