  • The Mediterranean Economic Week is a multi-partner initiative to discuss the major economic issues in the Mediterranean and the Middle East that brings together actors from various backgrounds among which entrepreneurs, researchers, politicians, economists, students, experts, and civil society actors in Marseille. It aims at providing a place for discussions and debates on the economic development of the MENA region.

    The Mediterranean Economic Week is organized by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, the Municipality of Marseille, the Marseille Provence Métropole Urban Community, the Euroméditerranée Urban Development Agency, the Marseille Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It is coordinated by the Office of Economic Cooperation for the Mediterranean and the Middle East (OCEMO).

    Since 2014, the CMI acts as a major contributor to this yearly initiative and organizes high-level events mobilizing and leveraging the expertise of all its members and partners.
