Highlights

The Steering Committee of the study, which is made up of Algerian officials and partners, as well as CDC and World Bank staff, assessed the final draft of phase 1 of the report “Assessment and Representation of Vulnerability Sources” and validated it. The second phase of the study, consisting of recommendations on an action plan, was therefore started and expected in mid-May, 2013. The meeting also resulted in the discussion and organization of a first “awareness meeting” aiming at disseminating the study results to Algiers's local governments, public institutions, and civil society.
