LOGISMED at the 5th Edition of the Mediterranean Week of Economic Leaders:
"Shaping the Mediterranean Future"

A workshop has been organised in Barcelona the 23rd of November in the frame of the 5th economic week of Mediterranean leaders where LOGISMEDTA programme has been presented as a restraint working session.

The workshop gathered specialists, experts in logistics and practitioners from the European Union and the Mediterranean Partner Countries to discuss and comment on the output of the inception report with consultant, exalting the key issues on logistics training offer and demand in the Mediterranean Southern Countries as well as the strategic lines to tackle in order to come up with solutions to these specific issues.


The opening of the session was with a starting speech from the EIB official introducing all the attendance, recalling the aim of the congregation and pointing out the importance of a high value expected feedback to enhance the results of the researches.

The workshop carried on with the presentation of the upshot from the consultant regarding the desk research and the interviews carried out in the beneficiary countries listing the key issues and the tentative action lines to follow in order to set up an action plan for the development of LOGISMED training activities.


Representatives from the MPCs – among which Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Lebanon and Palestine - highly appreciated the effort involved to bring out the initiative pointing out their rewarding comments to enhance the consistency of the results and proposing additional lines of action which be included in the action plan to be developed next.
